Battleflagg shares ‘Solastalgia’ EP and “Ghosts” music video

Philadelphia-based singer/songwriter Battleflagg has shared his EP ‘Solastalgia’ as well as his new music video for single “Ghosts”. ‘Solastalgia’ is a four song, all-encompassing musical ride. The artist teamed up with producer Daniel Knowles as well as an array of phenomenal musicians who have performed with The War on Drugs, Ethel Cain, Japanese Breakfast and Elvis Costello for his larger-than-life stadium worthy new music.

The highlight of the EP is the song “Ghosts”. The track is a perfect blend of infectious synth-pop and anthemic rock. The track also is an important narration on climate change and how that can lead to “missed connections while one’s known world disappears into the rearview”. The music video is an animated gem that mirrors the story perfectly, leading to a captivating watch. Track “I Gotta Love” features soulful and penetrating vocals, reverb rich guitars, and evocative bass. The mix of polished production and rock grit gives the track a sense of both gloss and edge — a slick, yet dangerous appeal. ” The title track is a moody folky gem filled with sullen guitars, warm and rich vocals and a hook that sticks in the listener’s head even when the music has stopped playing.

‘Solastalgia’ is a powerful EP that chronicles themes including loss, relocation, homesickness, environmental changes, love and more. Battleflagg has captivated listeners around the globe with this new music.
