Sacramento, Ca Rising artist Young Zel is kicking off the season with Summer Splash, a feel-good collection of party anthems and late-night cruisers designed to soundtrack every moment of the summer. “I wanted to just give people some summer party songs to have fun to,” says Young Zel. “While also trying to catch the summer night vibes of just cruising through the city.”

Clocking in at just over a month of creative grind, Summer Splash came together quickly but intentionally, with a sharp focus on pushing boundaries while staying true to Young Zel’s core sound. The title itself hints at something even bigger on the horizon.

“I just wanted to give the summer a splash of what’s to come in the future,” he explains. “A little taste of something bigger that’s coming.”

One standout track, “AMG”, holds deep meaning for Zel. It’s more than a banger — it’s a motivational anthem for anyone chasing a goal, whether it’s financial, spiritual, or personal.

“It’s a song for any person that has a dream or a goal they want to reach. Don’t stop until you get what you want in life, because you deserve it.”

While known for his energy and charisma, Young Zel took a different approach on Summer Splash, experimenting with more laid-back, vibey production that stretches his artistic comfort zone and opens up a new dimension of his sound.
