Southern California via New Jersey singer-songwriter, musician and environmentalist Mistine has released her highly coveted debut album. The 11 track indie pop and indie rock envelopment features songs all about her life in her 20s coupled with songs highlighting the important topic of sustainability and environmentalism.

The highlight and album centerpiece is the track “changing with the weather”. Grungy guitars and enthralling upbeat sonics open the album strong. The song features a chorus that one can’t help but shout and sing out loud. The song’s narrative compares a natural disaster from climate change to personal upheaval, creating an important juxtaposition. The track is shared alongside a fun music video where Mistine recycles her friend’s clothes and makes them her own. The ladies have a fun time singing and dancing in the kitchen and then put on a house show showing their thrilling live performance.

Mistine has definitely made her name known in the music industry. Her solo project is receiving both critical acclaim and commercial success and she has toured with the likes of Haiden and Conan Grey.
