Siah is a multi talented artist from Sacramento, California on the rise.
I’ve always been involved with creative arts such as dance, playing instruments, acting, etc. I come from a family involved with anything regarding artistic. Both my parents were local underground artists in the Bay Area.
Fast forward to them having me I carried the same love for music that they had. I always have been passionate about music but didnt start making it until summer of 2023. Its been roughly 2 years since I started making music religiously and Ive never stopped. In fact im determined to get people to hear my art because I love what I create.
I write, produce, and arrange all the music I make myself, and i take full pride in that shit. Im heavily inlove with the production part of music because, its literally where it all starts.
You have no songs or lyrics without the beat. THAT is the music and I feel like people forget about that sometimes.
Goals In The Present & Future
My goals right now are to do more shows, I love performing. Like i love it so damn much its hilarious. Im so annoying about it like I will have cringy solo performances in my room just singing my heart out to my songs pretending Im performing at some big music festival. Im very passionate about the performance part of music, which i think every artist should be but they arent.
Stage presence is everything to me, in my most recent show I did at Mic and Melodies Vol 3 hosted by Damelasoul at city sound soundbyte studies in Sacramento, I KILLED the stage. Rocked the hell out, the energy was pretty mellow until i popped out.
But yea my goal is to definitely do more shows. Some side goals of mine is to get better at writing more song songs. Maybe even pop songs i dont know. I just need to get better at writing in general. People say im good but i know i can be better.
I also really want to make it a goal to do more collaborations, im very picky and hesitant to do collabs I dont know why but i know they are just as important as having solo records. So yea thats a big goal.
The Love For His City
I love my city Sacramento because there are so many other talented individuals out there. I started an event called “Slappin or Lackin” designed to bring producers together in a space to Battle each other to see who has the hardest beat. I host this with my good friend of mine Anthony Cooper aka Amoneyslapz. We built this event because me and my boy Anthony share the same love for musical production.
But we also share the same belief that in out city there is not enough creative spaces that put some lime light on producers. So we decided lets make a Producer battle event for producers to come showcase their beats and also battle it out for a cash prize.
We want this to be a well known stamp for out city Sacramento. We’ve held 3 battles so far and our next ones date is TBA. We thank the owners at City Sound SoundByte studios, Josh Jorrin, VaultRob, DameLasoul, Acrea, and XJames for allowing us to host our events there, they’ve been really helpful.
Achievements Set For Future
A big achievement of mine for me right now is I’ve achieved a lot of love from people on my latest single “DIE LIT” that is out on all platforms. People seem to really like that song and is getting alot of love when i didnt expect it to. I even got a cosign from well known LA rapper Westside Boogie.
He slid in my dms and told me im dope and to keep going. As a big fan of his that really motviated me to lock in fully and trust myself and my skills.
