Chasing the Dream: Lyric Jones on Her Journey Into the World of Modeling

In just six short months, Lyric Jones has begun carving out a name for herself in the modeling world. With her passion, drive, and fearless attitude, she’s quickly evolving from a fresh face to a rising star.

“I started off doing lingerie and bikini shoots,” Lyric shares. “But now I’m exploring lifestyle shoots, working downtown, and experimenting with new environments like abandoned buildings with graffiti, and even car shoots.” This evolution isn’t just about visuals—it’s about growth, confidence, and finding her voice as a model.

Modeling, for Lyric, is more than just striking a pose—it’s a dream she’s determined to turn into a lifelong career. “I really enjoy modeling. It’s something I can see myself doing even in my older age. I’m just so blessed to be able to do it.”

One of the early challenges she faced was learning how to pose and getting comfortable in front of the camera. “It was hard at first,” she admits, “but over time, I’ve learned how to relax and own my space.”

Now, Lyric is setting her sights high. “I hope that within the next five years, I can land a big-name magazine. I definitely want to walk in New York Fashion Week. And one of my biggest goals is to become an international model—I want to be seen in magazines, commercials, storefronts—everywhere. I want my face to be known all over the world.”

But beyond the spotlight and photo shoots, what Lyric loves most is the experience. “The best part of modeling is the new opportunities, even the challenges. I love meeting other models, learning from each other, and just embracing the moment. It’s about more than just the photos—it’s about the journey.”

As she looks to the future, Lyric is taking steps to level up her craft. Her short-term goals include building her portfolio, getting new headshots and updated measurements, and submitting her work to modeling agencies. “I’m excited and nervous, but I’m ready. I want to show up as the best version of myself during castings, and I know I can get there.”

For new models just starting out, Lyric has this advice: “Start building your portfolio. If you can, take some classes. I know that’s something I’m still working on too. But most importantly—go for it. Don’t let anyone tell you you can’t do it. No one starts off perfect. Growth comes with time and practice. And always—be fierce.”

As Lyric Jones continues to embrace new challenges and chase her dreams, one thing is clear: she’s a name you’ll want to remember. With heart, hustle, and high hopes, she’s not just modeling—she’s making moves.
