Steven Bogar: The Rockstar Who Models

“What’s good!”

That’s how Steven Bogar introduces himself — high energy, unapologetic, and fully in character. Also known as “a rockstar who models ,” Steven brings the same electric presence to a photoshoot that most artists bring to a stage. Originally from Riverside, California — the 951 — he now works primarily out of the 310. As he confidently puts it: “I’ma LA baby.”

But Steven’s journey into modeling didn’t begin with fashion week dreams or agency calls. It started much closer to home.

Growing up, his uncle was a photographer. While most kids might have been running around or distracted, Steven was learning. He helped test lighting setups. He practiced poses. He stood in front of the lens so his uncle could sharpen his craft before paid bookings. That early exposure gave Steven something invaluable — comfort with the camera. Being photographed never felt intimidating. It felt natural.

At the same time, he was drawn to art in every form. Painting. Expression. Music. Fashion. Creativity wasn’t something he did occasionally — it was who he was. So when he realized he could merge visual art with personal expression through modeling, everything clicked.

“This was right up my alley,” he thought.

Steven doesn’t confine himself to one lane. He doesn’t believe in restricting art — and he definitely doesn’t restrict himself. He doesn’t focus on a specific modeling category because he genuinely appreciates all forms of creativity. High fashion? Let’s do it. Streetwear? Absolutely. Conceptual? Bring it on. If it’s art, he’s in.

That openness is what fuels his versatility.

One of his proudest creative moments so far was a shoot inspired by Tyler, The Creator. Steven conceptualized the entire look himself — building an outfit that captured the playful, colorful, fearless aesthetic Tyler embodies. He modeled it during Camp Flog Gnaw Festival, and you can even spot him featured on the festival’s Instagram page. It wasn’t just about wearing the clothes — it was about embodying the mood.

When inspiration hit, he didn’t hesitate. He told a friend from school about the concept, and the friend casually mentioned he had a camera just sitting in his room, waiting to be used. That spontaneous collaboration turned into one of Steven’s favorite shoots — proof that creativity doesn’t need perfection, it just needs action.

What makes Steven stand out isn’t just his look — it’s his energy. He approaches modeling like a performer approaches a stage. There’s movement. There’s intention. There’s presence. He doesn’t just pose — he performs.

He’s not trying to fit into a mold. He’s building his own.

From Riverside to Los Angeles, Steven Bogar is carving out space as a model who refuses to be boxed in. A creative who understands lighting and lens from both sides. A rockstar in spirit who uses fashion as his instrument.

And if the camera’s on?

He’s already ready.
