Rising R&B artist and USC student Taylor Contarino delivers an emotional gut-punch with her latest single, “i’ll hold space for you” — a vulnerable, heartfelt tribute to her late grandfather and a powerful introduction to her upcoming EP exploring themes of grief, healing, and emotional transformation.
Written just weeks after his passing, the track channels Taylor’s rawest emotions into a soft, soulful ballad. Blending the intimate storytelling of Jhene Aiko, the vocal soulfulness of Summer Walker, and the gentle honesty of Kiana Ledé, Taylor creates a sonic space that feels deeply personal yet universally resonant. Her expressive vocals and poetic lyricism guide the listener through loss, remembrance, and ultimately, love.
