August Royals is a captivating artist who blends alternative rock with indie pop. He has just shared his latest irresistible single and music video “Skintight Crazy”. The artist collaborated with producer Jon Class (Medium Build, Michigander) for this playlist worthy new track.
“Skintight Crazy” details the all-encompassing emotion of love and lust as well as trying to move on from a relationship. He shares, “This is a song that captures the lingering effects of letting go of a relationship, realizing you’re in love with who they were and not who they are anymore. It’s a song recognizing the highlight reel of love while being aware that’s all it is, a highlight reel. For a hopeless romantic, you’ll always have the what-ifs.” The emotional weight of the lyrics, creating an immersive listening experience that resonates with authenticity. Musically, the song features bedroom pop warmth with refined studio polish. The sound feels intimate, yet widescreen with anthemic melodies and electrifying guitars.
The new song is a musical departure from August Royals’ past releases. This new direction is his most authentic and strongest to date. The song is also released with a story rich music video. Check it out now!
