• What’s the title of your new song, and what inspired it?  My new song is called “Giddy”. “Giddy” was inspired by the shyness one feels about feeling giddy in a relationship or about a person. It’s about embracing the cringe and just being happy.
  • Can you walk us through the story behind the lyrics?  The story of “Giddy” is finally feeling safe and free when you’re with someone. It’s a new feeling, one maybe you’re shy about, one that maybe feels a little cringe.
  • How would you describe the sound or vibe of this track?  It’s goofy, it’s silly, it’s fun and it’s a little all over the place. There are so many adlibs in there that we added to make it have that feeling of being giddy and feeling so many things at one time.
  • Is this song part of a larger project, like an EP or album?  It won’t be on any album or EP but I do see it as part of a string of messy and very real songs.

2. Creative Process

  • What was the songwriting process like for this track? Throwing stuff at a wall? We based the entire song off me saying “I’m giddy” in the first 30 seconds of our session.
  • Who did you collaborate with on this song (producers, writers, musicians)?  Justin Tinucci & Ella Poletti
  • Was there a moment during recording when you knew this song was special?  Honestly when I said “I’m giddy” and everyone went “that’s it” !

3. Artistic Vision

  • What message or emotion do you hope listeners take away from this song? Be fun, be free, be awkward and have feelings
  • How does this track reflect your growth or evolution as an artist? The flow and sound of this song is somewhere I’ve been trying to be for a long time. It leaves the sort of bubblegum pop sound behind but still fits in the pop genre which is what I like! It’s exciting but indie but relatable.
  • Are there any unique elements or sounds you experimented with on this release? I did so many ad libs for this song and we really wanted to go a different direction with the bridge and bring in a section of rocking out which was awesome to do

4. Personal Connection

  • Does this song reflect something personal from your life or experience?  Yes all my music comes from personal life experience or listening to my friends
  • Were there any challenges or breakthroughs during the making of this song?  Honestly no, the flow of making this song was incredible.

5. Looking Ahead

  • What’s next for you after this release? More music, more shows and more fun!
  • Are you working on more music or planning a tour?  No tour yet, but lots and lots of music always.
  • What do you hope this song does for your career?  I mean, I would love for it to blow up haha.

6. Fun & Personality

  • If this song were a movie or a color, what would it be and why? This song is yellow and if it were a movie it would be the movie “When Harry Met Sally”.
  • What’s currently on your playlist? Who are you listening to right now? Sabrina Carpenter’s “Man’s Best Friend”, Amine’s “13 Months of Summer” and anything from Donna Summer
  • What’s one thing fans would be surprised to learn about this song or your process? This song came together in about an hour!
