Long before the brand, the business, and the growing catalog of original music, there was a moment—loud, electrifying, and unforgettable. At just 16 years old, DJ Medication’s journey began in Vancouver at the PNE Forum during Skrillex’s Mothership Tour. What was supposed to be a first concert experience quickly became something much deeper. Hearing tracks like First of the Year and Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites live wasn’t just impressive—it was transformative. That night didn’t just introduce him to electronic music; it unlocked a direction that would shape the next decade of his life.
Curiosity turned into obsession. After that experience, he dove headfirst into learning how those sounds were created. Starting with software like Reason and experimenting with FL Studio, everything changed when he discovered that artists like Skrillex and Deadmau5 used Ableton. That discovery shifted everything. As someone who had always been naturally drawn to computers, it clicked—music wasn’t just about talent or instruments; it was also about technology, systems, and understanding how to manipulate sound at a high level. That realization became the bridge between passion and skill.
Over time, DJ Medication developed a sound that reflects both intensity and intention. His music is heavy, rhythmic, and built for experience—crafted specifically for venues, crowds, and high-energy environments. It’s not just about listening; it’s about feeling something in real time. His approach leans into complexity and creativity, pushing beyond traditional structures to create something that feels more like an immersive performance than just a track. For him, music is entertainment at its highest level—something that moves people physically and emotionally.
But behind the sound is a reality many artists know all too well. The journey hasn’t been easy. From losing followers to dealing with unreliable clients, low engagement, and the constant pressure of building visibility in an oversaturated space, the challenges have been consistent. Despite posting daily, investing heavily into advertising, and putting in relentless work, growth hasn’t always reflected the effort. Competing in an industry where numbers often outweigh talent can be frustrating—especially when artists with less experience seem to gain traction faster.
Financially, the grind is just as real. Running a creative business comes with risk, and in the early stages, breaking even can feel like a victory. With tens of thousands invested into marketing and development, the return hasn’t always been immediate. But what sets DJ Medication apart is his refusal to slow down. Even in the face of slow growth, he continues to create, improve, and show up—because for him, this isn’t optional.

That persistence has already led to major milestones. One of his proudest accomplishments is founding DJ Medication, a full-service music production platform that has worked with over 200 artists. Since July 2024, he has been producing music full-time—completely independent, building a business from the ground up, and sustaining himself through his craft. That level of freedom is something many creatives chase, and for him, it’s already become reality. In his own words, life has started to feel like a vacation—not because it’s easy, but because he’s doing exactly what he loves.
Beyond personal success, his mission is rooted in impact. DJ Medication wants his music to inspire—to create excitement, connection, and a sense of belonging. He envisions a community where people feel free to be themselves, where creativity isn’t limited, and where the weight of societal expectations doesn’t hold anyone back. His work isn’t just about sound—it’s about offering people an escape, a reminder that there’s more to life than routine and restriction.
What continues to drive him is the vision of something bigger. Travel, connection, and the ability to meet fans around the world fuel his motivation. For him, music is more than a career—it’s a pathway to freedom. A way to step outside the conventional system and build a life on his own terms.
Right now, that vision is taking shape through new music. He is currently working on not just one, but two albums—both centered around a heavier dubstep direction with his own unique twist. These projects are designed with live performance in mind, blending original tracks with hip-hop influences, unreleased IDs, and exclusive edits to create a live show experience that stands apart. His goal is clear: to build a reputation where attending a DJ Medication set isn’t just a show—it’s an event.
Looking ahead, his ambitions stretch far beyond music alone. He aims to become a self-funded multi-millionaire, not for status, but to reinvest into the culture he loves. His long-term vision includes creating opportunities for artists around the world and contributing to the growth of global music communities. It’s about building something that lasts—something bigger than himself.
DJ Medication is still in the building phase, but the foundation is already there: skill, vision, and relentless drive. And as his sound continues to evolve, so does his reach—one track, one show, and one opportunity at a time.
