“I started in the church choir at the age of 5. My dad was also in a group with some of my uncles. I’ve been in love with music ever since.”
That early foundation in the church is still audible today — not just in her vocal power, but in the conviction behind every lyric.

“I never want to limit myself creatively. I enjoy making music that reflects different emotions, moments, and influences while staying authentic to who I am.

“Every song has a purpose. Whether it’s something that makes you think, feel, heal, or dance, I want listeners to walk away feeling like they experienced something real.”

“Every challenge, every lesson, and every milestone has given me a new perspective and something meaningful to write about. My experiences have taught me resilience, and I try to pour that honesty into every song.”

“I hope people walk away feeling seen, understood, and inspired. Whether they’re celebrating, healing, or going through a difficult season, I want my music to remind them that they’re not alone.”
Like many independent artists, the path hasn’t been without obstacles. Beyond writing and performing, Jazmine-Renae’ has had to learn the business, the branding, the balance — all while staying true to her artistry.
“One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced has been building my career as an independent artist. There are so many responsibilities that come with creating music beyond just writing and performing, and learning to balance all of those roles hasn’t always been easy. At the same time, it’s made me more resilient, more creative, and more determined. Every challenge has taught me something valuable. It’s reminded me that success isn’t just about talent — it’s about consistency, perseverance, and believing in yourself even when the journey gets tough.”
That perseverance is paying off. Jazmine-Renae’ just dropped the house mix to her single “Green Light” a vibrant, dance-ready reimagining that shows off exactly the versatility she’s known for — and she’s officially launched her own merch line.
And she’s not stopping there.
“Next I’m still working on my acting career as well as modeling and juggling a couple businesses I have. And working on new music as well.”
Outside of the studio, lights, and stage, Jazmine-Renae’ wants people to know the woman behind the music: genuine, faith-driven, grounded in kindness and authenticity.
“I believe in treating people with respect, continuing to grow, and never giving up on your purpose. Music is a huge part of who I am, but at the end of the day, I hope people remember me not just for the songs I create, but for the character I carry and the way I make others feel.”
